Wicklow has an abundant  and of diverse range of walking routes to choose from. Some walkers may want a challenge in the mountains, while others prefer a more leisurely stroll along the forest trails. We have highlighted some suggestions for walks to suit all interests and levels, including some a little further afield. 

 

Local walks

Adjacent to the holiday homes is Clara vale nature reserve with over 500 acres of native irish forest and wildlife.

it is a hidden Gem of woodland, picturesque walking routes and incredible wildlife including the spotted woodpecker, Sika Deer and much more.

Glenview Woodlands walk

Glen beach cliff walk-4km-up to 50m- difficult in parts-exposed cliffs, uneven surface. Great sighting for grey seals or glimpse of porpoise or dolphins-Wicklow town

 

Walks a bit further

Bray promenade & bray head-1hr-3hrs-coast walk onto track-Flat walk onto steep uphill at Bray head-great views

Greystones to Bray cliff walk-lovely view of the sea-1 hr up and 1 hr back or walk up, coffee in Bray/ Greystones and dart back.
